Kalpen Competition, officially titled Vintage Stunts Racing Competition, is an archetypal Indy competition held by the Kalpen brothers, JTK and KHR. Started in 1998, it replaced Lukas Loehrer's Stunts Grand Prix as the premier Stunts contest of that era. As such, it was the starting point for racers who would form the core of ZakStunts active competitors in its early days, including Zak McKracken himself. In summer 2001, however, the fourth season was, in face of managers' lack of time, terminated with no official winner. Two years later, the Kalpen Competition would see a much celebrated revival for a three race special edition. Since then, the contest had two more seasons, in 2006 and 2007 (the latter being, as of now, on indefinite hiatus).
