The DTM pack is a set of three cars developed by Overdrijf and released on 18 October 2018 with this forum post. It includes the Audi V8 Quattro DTM, the BMW M3 E30 DTM and the Mercedes-Benz 190 E DTM. With a similar design in both shape and characteristics, but each having its own unique features, the cars have been made to compete together. A very fair race can be held allowing for each racer to pick any of the three cars without any particular handicap.
The car shapes were designed using Stressed and Anim8or, while the performance parameters were set up using Car Blaster. For image work, GIMP was utilised.
Overdrijf first put his cars to public test in the second race of season 2018 of Race For Kicks on a track also made by himself. The race was a success and since then, the three cars have seen very frequent use and are well liked by the community.
An update of the models with a few cosmetic changes in graphics and text was published on 8th January 2019. This has not affected the driving and thus, version 1.1 is compatible with version 1.0.
