The 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach is one of the eleven original cars of Stunts, available in all game versions. The Countach is, alongside with Ferrari GTO, one of the cars with flat-straightline top speed approaching 200mph (despite relatively poor acceleration in lower gears) without the elevated racing car grip that characterizes Indy and IMSA Cars. Thus, it has tricky handling, very reliant on controlled slides and sliding jumps at high-level racing.
One crucial difference sets GTO and Countach apart, however. While GTO is one of the Power Gear cars, Countach is quite unique among the original cars for possessing a very pronounced "Anti-Power Gear" effect: on fourth and fifth gears, attempting to accelerate through most track elements which would propel Indy or NSX into Power Gear (such as loops or ramps) actually makes the car slow down significantly, thus forcing the driver to lift off the gas pedal. Such characteristics make the Countach one of the game's most challenging cars, as well as one disliked by the majority of competition racers (Zak McKracken being the most notorious exception).
Countach is also one of the cars able to perform the Magic Carpet trick.
