So, why did I create this article? Well, we definitely need biographies of top racers, and Alain was relatively easy to start with for a relative newbie since he is (was?) well known enough for me to create a reasonable stub with publicly available data and impressions. Also, with a more-or-less NPOV stub in place you veterans might find it easier to build upon, particularly for controversial public figures.
