The Porsche 962 IMSA, usually referred to as P962, is one of the eleven cars originally included in Stunts. One of the two original IMSA cars, it possesses all of the key characteristics that define the category - high top speed and acceleration, cornering grip well above average, lack of powergear and equal flat track and real top speeds. Compared to its sibling car, the Jaguar XJR9 IMSA, the P962 is slightly superior in acceleration and cornering speed, even if the similarities between them tend to blur the differences from the racers' perspective. The P962 is widely regarded as one of the finest cars in Stunts; racers who hold it as a personal favourite include Krys Toff and Akoss Poo. Additionally, it was used as a starting point for the development of the well-known custom cars Melange XGT-88 and Speedgate XSD.
