France Stunts Competition, or FSC, is Alain's competition, active at various points between 2002 and 2006, then revived in 2025. It is remarkable for its exotic rules (such as races with multiple ways for different cars or free car choice including cheat cars) and colourful management. 2025 favorite regulations are OWOOT no Replay handling.

France Stunts 2025 (website)

France Stunts 2025 is the official hub for the French community season of Stunts (Brøderbund, 1990). It hosts live standings, replay submission and review, driver history, a social wall, and per-track archives. Site: hyperionracingteam.win/fsc25

Core features

Live scoreboard

The leaderboard updates as soon as a replay is submitted, showing best laps, gaps, and a trace of each driver’s improvements.

Replay upload & parsing (.RPL)

Replays (Stunts files .rpl) can be uploaded through a simple UI (file picker). A client-side parser (RPLReader) detects legacy/new formats, reads headers, tick count and frequency, then computes the lap time with: replayTime = numTicks / frequency.

DSI Social Wall

Participants can post a short message with an alias (≤ 20 characters), select a favourite car (from the game’s base set) and a colour (from the in-game palette). Posts are stored in the database and displayed in a dedicated vertical column. A Social Network page named "DSI social" is also available.

Archives & tracks

Monthly competitions are kept in a long-term archive, with a separate results page for each .trk file (both “track of the month” and community maps).

Competition ethos

France Stunts 2025 aims for clarity and accessibility: transparent results for the monthly competition. Uploaded replays are auto-parsed. Monthly replays are published in the end of each contest. Visibility of incremental website improvements is assured with the DSI Social Wall, and modern web tooling around a classic game is aimed at challenging 21st century players.
