The Jaguar XJR9 IMSA is one of the eleven cars originally included in Stunts. As one of the quintessential IMSA cars, alongside with the Porsche 962 IMSA, it has noteworthy race-car performance and cornering grip and lacks powergear and other overdrive effects. Statistically-wise, the Jaguar is a slightly inferior car to the P962 in terms of acceleration and maximum cornering speeds. The original IMSA cars are very closely matched, though, and driver opinions about the differences between them are largely subjective. In fact, a significant portion of racers tend to perceive the Jaguar as being less demanding to handle than P962. On a tangentially related note, most drivers agree the Jaguar is the better looking IMSA car - regardless of the fact that the Jaguar 3D model is one of the most far removed from the real car shape. Historically, the Jaguar has been a popular car among racers; CTG in particular is one of its biggest fans. The most widely known Jaguar-based custom car is the Coconut Car Coronet Pulsar STi-R; which is, performance-wise, essentially a clone of the Jaguar.
