Fence Sliding

An advanced trick, which allows you to navigate better in power gear. You use the edge-of-map fence to change direction by sliding along it. You can drive into the fence, keeping power gear, and then leave it when you've reached the right place. It is possible to fence-slide across water, which makes for surprising shortcuts on some tracks. This trick was first used - in competitions - on ZCT10 in January 2002.
Trivia
In 1998, fence sliding was already used by Akoss Poo (at the time: Akoos LOME), when he was racing versus his schoolmates, Usrin and CTG. The trick was named after its inventor: "LOME kerítéstaktika" (=LOME Fence Tactics).
